I just got a totally unexpected present in the mail! tinzelda  and I had been talking about The Once and Future King -- somehow she'd never read it, and I haven't read it in years so it's due for re-reading. And she got it on Amazon for me! I have the best friends.

After about eight months of eating-sleeping-breathing Due South, I had been worried that the honeymoon was over, that the love, or at least the obsession, was starting to fade. I finished Due South last night. Wow. I am ... warmed. Energized.

I gotta say, I like RayV but love RayK. He has more sharp edges; he complements Benton in ways that I like. I just finished the first couple Ray K. episodes, and oh, yes yes YES. Falling into the mother's grave and confronting the past and leaving it behind, during an eclipse yet. Becoming a new person. (Yeah, I kinda do prefer my metaphors strapped to an anvil.)

Due South is adorable and slashy and adorably slashy and I want to take Paul Gross home and cuddle him. (Or possibly I want to take Benton Fraser home and ...
